Jean-Patrick Ehouman

Jean-Patrick Ehouman has successively been a web/mobile applications developer then a software architect for a few years in France before launching his own tech company 5 years ago in Côte d’Ivoire. He spends a lot of time coming up with ways to create a dynamic African technologies of information ecosystem, using a bottom-up approach via Akendewa, a tech NGO he co-founded in 2009 and where he is current President and who made him to became the first laureate of the “Tremplin UNESCO-CEPS prize for Youths Entrepreneurship and peace culture in Africa” in October 2013. He writes on technologies at Techmissus, a collaborative blog he launched in 2010 (Techmissus is now the N°1 technology news website in Francophone Africa). Beginning of 2013, he launched AllDevCamp (Selected in March 2014 as one of the 13 expert centers in the world, for the Unesco ' YouthMobile program), a web/mobile development bootcamp targetting african developers. JP has a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and an Electrical Engineering Degree from University of Poitiers (France) and a bachelor degree in information systems and softwares from University of Provence (France).
